Aarenet successfully hosted 2023 Partner Conference in Hai Phong, Vietnam

Aarenet is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its 2023 Partner Conference held in Hai Phong, Vietnam. This event brought together industry leaders, partners, and experts throughout Vietnam and marked a significant milestone in advancing telecommunications innovations.

The Aarenet 2023 Partner Conference took place at the Nikko Hotel in Hai Phong, Vietnam, from August 20th to 21st inclusively. The event exceeded expectations and was specifically designed to focus on key areas such as telecom trends, contact center advancements, unified communications, security and technical support excellence.

 

One of the conference highlights included the presentation of the “Most Innovative Carrier Customer of the Year 2023” award to FPT Telecom International as recognition for their exceptional contributions to the telecom industry in Vietnam.

 

Key highlights of the conference included keynote addresses, product demonstrations and showcases and offered an excellent platform for executing networking.

 

Speakers from Aarenet and FrontStage delivered insightful keynote addresses sharing the latest telecom trends, the evolution of contact centers and developments in its unified communications solution.

 

The Aarenet Pre-sales team demonstrated advanced third-party integration features within their Contact Centre solution such as eKYC, Text-to-Speech, and Speech-to-Text functionalities and the Aarenet Sales team showcased its latest unified communication products.

 

The conference provided ample networking opportunities, enabling attendees to establish valuable connections with industry peers, partners, and Aarenet Executives.

New Aarenet Cloud PBX Release 7.12

The new Aarenet Cloud PBX Software Release 7.12 has been approved for general application commencing June 30th, 2023. The new Aarenet Cloud PBXSoftware Release 7.12 has been approved for general application commencing June 30th, 2023. Effective immediately, newly deployed systems will be commissioned with this new software release. A seamless upgrade service for existing installations is offered without impacting the availability of active service.


The release is enhancing the Cloud PBX solutions for enterprises and entails a full multi-tenant carrier grade setup with a wealth of user features. Following requests of many customers, Fax2Mail has been integrated. A received fax message will now be forwarded to the appointed email address in an attachment.

Frank Remmers, VP Product Management says: “although fax is considered legacy solution, many customers still use it as it is considered an official legal document. The use of electronic mail alone is not sufficient as E-mail is not always accepted as a legal document. The implementation of the Fax2Mail will open additional vertical markets to address with our Cloud PBX offering.”

System Operator

A further highlight of the new release, Aarenet’s own desktop client “anDesktop” has been released. This client, compatible with macOS and Windows OS, offers a feature rich telephony client as alternative to traditional physical deskphones. The desktop client is specifically interesting for remote workers who do not have a physical telephony infrastructure. The installation is self-explanatory and the activation is a user friendly process.


“anDesktop” also interacts with the Microsoft Teams embedded applet “anCall” and complements the offering for Microsoft Teams users. Remmers says: “Direct Routing has been implemented in a previous version and the use of the anCall embedded applet enables the integration of telephony into Microsoft Teams without the need to procure specific Teams phone licences. This significantly reduced the cost for Microsoft Teams users to access state-or-the-art Cloud PBX features like Advanced Call Distribution, Interactive Voice Response, Voice Mail and many others.”


To improve security for system operators as well as end-users a Two Factor Authentication for login, together with a compatible two-factor authentication application has been added. Other new features such as additional CSTA interface functions for Contact Center applications have been added and a platform upgrade to comply with the newest security requirements next to general maintenance and GUI improvements. Details of included features within this software release will be communicated upon request.

With the attendance of the public growing year over year, the event has kept its original highly focused technical format and informal setting. Based on previous year’s positive experiences, Aarenet decided to enter the group of sponsors of the event this year. 

 

The aim of the ITNOG organization is to improve the quality of the Italian internet, by promoting the exchange of information and ideas across the board, from C-level executives to professionals and network technicians. 

 

Aarenet looks forward to next year’s edition, knowing that coming back to Bologna will give not only the opportunity to spend time with long-term contacts and new partners, but also attend a buzzing event where opportunities are openly shared.

Aarenet conducted Technology Workshops in Bangkok – Thailand

Aarenet recently hosted successful technology workshops in the APAC region. The events were focused on showcasing cutting-edge communication technology for Enterprise, Government, and Military sectors. 

Attendees were able to gain valuable insights into the future of secure communication technologies and witness live demonstrations of the latest products and solutions. Aarenet’s CEO, Felix Jakob, was also present to share his vision and roadmap for the company’s future endeavors. 

 

One of the highlights of the workshops was the showcasing of Aarenet’s newest product line, anContact. anContact is a comprehensive omni-channel contact centre solution that comes with a built-in ticketing and customer relationship management systems. This addition to the core voice component, a carrier-class voice switch, provides a multi-tenant solution to seamlessly unify voice and digital communication channels into a single unified queuing system.

 

AnContact is now available for Aarenet’s Partners, offering both hosted and on-premise solutions with flexible licensing options for all. This latest addition to Aarenet’s product line allows our Customers to increase their CX and streamline their communication and business processes. 

 

The event also featured a live demonstration of Aarenet’s flagship product, anSwitch 6, to the incumbent Carrier. With 15 years of experience in providing Carrier C4-C5 Softswitch solutions, anSwitch 6 is a well-proven, highly secured, and easy-to-manage system that demonstrates Aarenet’s prowess in the industry. 

 

The Aarenet AG team demonstrated their expertise in end-to-end encryption (E2EE) technology during the workshop, showcasing how it can protect users and senders from security and privacy risks during communications. This was just one of the many valuable insights how Aarenet’s technology can be utilised to enhance communication security.

New Aarenet Voice and Video Client “anDesktop” for Windows and macOS

Aarenet announces today that it has released the newly developed client “anDesktop” for Windows and macOS systems as a Beta release to be used for extended field trials.

Following requests from different carrier customers, Aarenet developed a new desktop client for Windows and macOS. Market requirements confirm the benefits and increased use of software-based clients versus desktop SIP phones also related to the trend towards working from home or in other flexible setups and locations. The desktop client, named “anDesktop” allows access to the corporate cloud PBX telephone book, the possibility to configure specific account features like call forwarding, voice as well as video calling complemented with a screen sharing function and a full view of the call history as well as access to the personal voice mail box.

 

Next to being used a stand-alone desktop client, the application also provides the base for the anTeams plugin for MS Teams users. This plugin enables Microsoft Teams users to make calls from the MS Teams application. This cost-effective solution integrates the phone system and the external PSTN number into the MS Teams application without the need for dedicated telephony licenses.

Frank Remmers, VP Product Management, says: “We have developed a user-friendly yet powerful desktop client. Also, our carrier customers asked for the possibility to customise and brand the client to distinguish the offering from other, commercially available, clients. We have implemented a process to minimise the required steps to activate the client on the desktop and make it as easy as clicking on an activation tile without the need to enter account credentials. Combined with our smartphone client “an IP-Phone” we can offer a powerful combination for flexible deployment in dispersed locations. First feedback from customers is very positive and we expect that the client will be released for commercial deployment soon.”

Aarenet co-hosted Technology Workshops in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Aarenet announced today that they co-hosted the technology workshops with Netregy Systems for Resellers and Carrier Partners in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The workshops took place from September 26th to 29th of 2022 and they were enthusiastically participated by Netregy’s Resellers and Carrier Partners in Malaysia. The well-chosen establishment to host the workshops was the international acclaimed restaurant De.Wan by Chef Wan where Malaysian gourmet culinary was served in a traditional and elegant environment. The venue enabled the participants to network with each other’s, learn new solutions and dine together in harmony. The presence of Aarenet CEO – Mr. Felix Jakob promoted Aarenet’s strong commitment for the Malaysian market.

“It was a great experience and pleasure to be back in Malaysia after a prolonged two and half year period. Aarenet hosted Vietnam Partner Conference 2022 in Ha Long, Vietnam

Aarenet announced today that they hosted the Vietnam Partner Conference 2022 on June 10th, 2022 in Ha Long, a World Heritage City in Northern Vietnam. 

As this is the first event that Aarenet has organised in Asia since the dawn of the COVID pandemic, there were strong participation from more than thirty Systems Partner companies and selected Carrier Customers spanning the Service Provider and Government sectors as well as different Enterprise verticals.

This conference focused on Aarenet’s new Enterprise and Carrier solutions such as CCaaS, UCaaS and AI Technology. The keynote speakers also delivered market trend updates, go-to-market strategy, strategic partnership initiative and an interactive demonstration session of the emergent products.  

“This event was well received by our Partners and Customers. We used this occasion to launch our new unified communications and omni-channel contact centre solutions for both the Carrier and Enterprise sectors. We intend to go-to-market with our Partners to deliver feature rich and cost-effective solutions that matches the digital transformation initiatives of the Vietnam Government and the Enterprise sector.”, said Mr. Felix Jakob – CEO.

Aarenet anCall applet for Microsoft Teams for CTI and call integration

Aarenet is pleased to present anCall, an applet that delivers a cost effective and user-friendly telephony experience for MS Teams users. Without the need to obtain dedicated MS Teams phone licenses, users can use, control and customise telephony settings of their own Aarenet CloudPBX extension and are able to originate calls to internal extensions and external PSTN destinations.

Outgoing calls can be originated via the MS Teams desktop client with the Aarenet anCall applet installed.  Aarenet anCall applet is also available on the smartphone devices where MS Teams has been installed and originated calls are handled via the native dialer.

Frank Remmers, sales director at Aarenet says “next to the telephony integration in the Microsoft Teams interface, the anCall applet provides a user-friendly interface to configure features such as call forwarding and do-not-disturb, and enables to view the call history as well as listening to the personal voicemail messages.  

 

What is really powerful is the ability to control connected SIP Phones that are registered on the same extension. Using the CTI interface, the user can use his desktop computer to initiate calls on the connected desktop phone. Many commercially available phones support this feature by default and this feature provides a great user experience as the dialled number does not need to be dialled by hand.”

The applet will be part of the new Aarenet anSwitch, version 7.7 which is planned to be released by end of March 2022 and can be installed by the customer’s MS Teams administrator.
